We just came back from a wonderful week at the sea! We had such a happy time at the beach! In my mind I´m still sitting there watching my son playing in the sand.
I have managed to finish 120 squares by now, I wanted to finish all last week, but I have realised that crochet with sand and suncream sticking on my hands is not really my favourite thing to to! But I guess, I can start with the last row soon. I´m still not sure how many squares I will use, I have started 140, but maybe 12 rows with 10 squares will be big enough. I will lay them all down in rows this week and have a look!
Wishing you all a happy day and thank you so much for stopping by!
I will have a lot of washing to do now, yay!

I so know what you mean about suncream, sand and crochet! The beach pics look lovely, that looks like lovely soft sand to play in.
ReplyDeleteYour box of crochet looks ready to go, I'll bet it will be lovely when they're all joined into the blanket...are you bordering them all in the same colour? Look forward to seeing it go together!
Yes, that sand was great to play with and for building huge sand castles! Endless fun! :)
DeleteI will bordering all squares in white, I hope it will look nice with all that different colours I have used.
Have a great day Faith!
Loving your crochet Barbina! Such lovely gorgeous colours!

I don't think I would enjoy the sand and wool combination either, but it looks like you are right on your way!
ReplyDeleteWish I was at the beach! I don't think I could crochet with the sand, wind, and salt either. I like to read at the beach. Can't wait to see the finished project.
ReplyDeleteI am making the same squares as you don't they look pretty, I have my little wheels in a pretty container displayed on my table I love looking at them and playing with them haha
ReplyDeleteThe thought of the beach for vacation sounds nice but I agree about sand, suncream and wool not being very good. I love your colors and will look forward to seeing your afghan as it is taking shape.
