Back from the sea and Tuesdays Tallies!

Hello everybody!
We just came back from a wonderful week at the sea! We had such a happy time at the beach! In my mind I´m still sitting there watching my son playing in the sand.

I have managed to finish 120 squares by now, I wanted to finish all  last week, but I have realised that crochet with sand and suncream sticking on my hands is not really my favourite thing to to! But I guess, I can start with the last row soon. I´m still not sure how many squares I will use, I have started 140, but maybe 12 rows with 10 squares will be big enough. I will lay them all down in rows this week and have a look!

If you want to join us or see more beautiful One a day projects please visit Carols blog!

Wishing you all a happy day and thank you so much for stopping by!
I will have a lot of washing to do now, yay!

  1. I so know what you mean about suncream, sand and crochet! The beach pics look lovely, that looks like lovely soft sand to play in.

Your box of crochet looks ready to go, I'll bet it will be lovely when they're all joined into the blanket...are you bordering them all in the same colour? Look forward to seeing it go together!

  4. Wish I was at the beach! I don't think I could crochet with the sand, wind, and salt either. I like to read at the beach. Can't wait to see the finished project.

  6. The thought of the beach for vacation sounds nice but I agree about sand, suncream and wool not being very good. I love your colors and will look forward to seeing your afghan as it is taking shape.
